The complete maintenance of boats, submarines, ships' internal systems and all maritime transport is accountable to a marine engineer. Students will adopt navigation skills and technical skills while pursuing this course. The point needs to be remembered that the role of the Marine engineer will constantly change with the new challenging aspects. They will be taught some interesting topics like waves, amplitude oscillations, flow theories etc,. and the training will be provided systematically. Students will gain knowledge on how to control engines, hydraulic turbines, ship design, naval architecture etc,. After completion of the course, candidates can apply for navy jobs, shipbuilding companies, research and development centres, harbours and ports etc,.
