Genetic Engineering
Genetic engineering is a sub-branch of Advanced science that deals with Genes and DNA. The process of adding new DNA to a living organism by unnatural practices is named Genetic modification. Genetic engineering is a combination of different technologies and factual concepts that a scientist can use in changing Genetic data. The presence of Genetic engineering is everywhere in today's world as in Golden Rice, Banana Vaccine, Longer- lasting fruits, Human growth hormones etc,. The Genetic changes of a product will be useful for its Growth in production, Quality improvement, Mineral addition and Hormone production. The scope in this field is very high with more employment opportunities. The demand for Genetic engineers is growing rapidly day by day in India as well as abroad. The smallest living unit in the world is a cell, the basic structural and functional unit of all living matter, whether a plant, an animal, a human or a fungus. some organisms have single cells but others such as plants, animals, humans etc,. are made up of a lot more cells. One of the best examples is that humans have approximately 3 million cells.
