Logistics is a process of planning, implementing, and controlling the efficient and effective flow of goods, services, and information from the point of origin to the point of consumption. Logistics plays a crucial role in Supply chain management, which involves the co-ordination and integration of all activities involved in delivering a product or service to customers. It encompasses the movement and storage of raw materials, work-in-progress goods, and finished products, as well as the management of information flows, such as order processing and tracking.
What is Logistics? Logistics management is a Supply chain management. The primary objectives of logistics are to optimize the flow of goods, minimize costs, and meet customer demands and expectations. Eligibility Criteria:
UG: For a Bachelor's degree in logistics, like BBA or B.Com in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, A candidate needs to Complete 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board or institution. meet the minimum percentage of around 50% of merit is required. This course duration is 3 years.
PG: For a Master's degree in logistics, like an MBA or M.Sc. in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, he/ she needs to Completion of a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institution is required. This course duration is 2 years.
Diploma/ Certificate: For Diploma or Certificate programs in logistics or supply chain management, the eligibility criteria may vary depending on the institution. who have completed their 10+2 or Bachelor's degree, regardless of the field of study required.
Entrance Exams: CAT, XAT, MAT etc,.
Logistics Fee Structure:
Bachelor's: INR. 30,000 to INR. 2 Lakh per year
Master's: INR. 1 Lakh to INR. 5 Lakh per Annum
MBA: INR. 2 Lakh to INR. 10 Lakh per 2 year course.
