Film making is a combined effort of people with different crafts working together. Behind the entertainment of on-screen artists lies the hard work of many professionals. With the advent of OTTs, the range of art exhibition venues has further expanded. There are 24 crafts and departments in the Film Industry. Various organizations are evolving at a rapid pace to train amateurs who are interested in making a career in the film industry.

✦ Anyone can join Film studies courses with Inter qualification. Many private institutes offer Undergraduate education in Film studies. Most companies are run by people with a cine background. Mumbai is famous in the country for its Film courses.

Later, they should focus on their specialization course. Anyone can join in Certificate, Diploma and Degree courses with Inter Qualification. These two Institutes jointly offer degree and diploma courses in Film Making. Courses are offered with B.Sc/ BA Film Making (Cinematography/ Direction/ Editing/ Producing/ Sound Recording and Design/ VFX) specializations with Inter Qualification. These specializations include Advanced Diploma courses with a duration of two years. One can Join BA (Screen Writing/ Acting) courses. There are also Advanced Diploma in Acting and Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Screen Writing. There is a certificate course in Web and TV series Screen writing with a duration of six months. The duration of any diploma course is one year. Admissions to this Institute are made by conducting General Aptitude Test and Creative Ability Test. Statement of Purpose and Talent is important in cracking an Interview for seeking Admission.
Asian Academy of Film and Television, Noida:
This Institute offers Diploma in any field of Film study combined with B.Sc (Cinema) course for a period of 3 years. One can choose any Field from Acting, Cinematography, Direction etc,. to Post Production, Sound Editing and any other course. One can also take a B.A Theatre and Drama course. A one- year Diploma and three- months short- term courses are available in this Degree.
Mumbai Digital Film Academy:
There are 1 year Diploma, 6 months Certificate and 3 months Short-term courses are available in Digital Film Making, Digital Cinematography, Acting, Direction, Cinematography, Film and Video Editing, Sound Designing and Editing, Photography, Screenplay Writing, Voice Dubbing, Anchoring etc,.
There are Certificate and Diploma courses available in Acting Institutes like Book My Face, Skywalk Acting Institute, Film and Creative Art Institute, Roshan Taneja School of Acting, Berrigan Acting Studio, Anupam Kher’s Actor Prepares, RK Films and Media Academy, Actor studio India, etc,.
✦ Film and Television Institute of India, Pune and Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute, Kolkata, were set up as autonomous bodies under the Ministry of Broadcasting. Many courses are offered at PG and Diploma levels. Any graduate can avail the opportunity to join the available courses.

Andhra University is offering a Certificate course in Acting with a duration of 3 months. Annapurna College of Film and Media offers Bachelor's Degree in Media Production. Ramanaidu Film School offers Directing, Cinematography and Acting courses. In addition, some other Institutes are teaching skills in Film Courses. There are PG level courses in some Institutes including the Central University of Hyderabad.

Action:
Must have the dexterity to express different emotions through Facial Expressions. Good Physique and Dancing ability stand out as an added attraction. Have to focus on Body Language and Communication skills.
Direction:
A Director is the creative lead of a film. He/ she should have a creative vision throughout the whole process of making a film, from pre-production procedures to the final edit of a movie. An executive producer who is in charge of a production house employs a director to make a film.
Screenplay:
Every scene in a movie is shot based on Screenplay only. Those who are Creative in Writing and thinking can focus on this discipline. Those who have the skill to slice through the texture of language and scenes can excel in Screenplay. One can get opportunity as an Assistant Writer or Writer upon completion of course.
Cinematography:
Those who had grip in Photography and Video Editing can choose this discipline. They must be focused on new technologies with regard to Photo and Video editing. The Audience needs to be captivated by the scenes shot by the Cinematography. Cinematographers work on Lighting and Visual effects to bring life to a scene. One can get opportunity as an Assistant Cinematographer or Cinematographer after completing the course.
Editing:
The editor’s job is to shorten some hours of footage of to a two-and-a-half-hour movie. The useless scenes should be cleverly removed so as not to do injustice to the required scenes. They must be taken care not to damage the co-ordination between the scenes from beginning to end. Those who have knowledge on these things can choose editing. In the world of cinema one can gradually reach the level of an Editor.
Sound Recording:
The cinematic experience can be felt by adding subtle sounds to the scenes. A Sound Engineer's job is to make the audience immersed in the scenes. Those who have a good grip on Technology and are interested in Sound Experimentation can join Sound Recording courses.
