The National Informatics Centre (NIC), operating under the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India, is inviting applications for the recruitment of 'Scientist-B' (Group-A S&T Gazetted) posts on a direct recruitment basis.

1. Computer Sciences & IT: 168 Posts.
2. Electronics & Communication: 25 Posts.
3. Data Science & Artificial Intelligence (AI): 50 Posts.
Eligibility: Depending on the specific post, candidates must have completed a B.E., B.Tech., M.Sc., M.C.A., M.E., or M.Tech. in the relevant discipline.
Selection Process: Candidates will be shortlisted based on their valid GATE score (from the years 2024, 2025, or 2026). In the final selection, a weightage of 60% will be assigned to the GATE score, and 40% to the Personal Interview.
Age Limit: As of 31/03/2026, candidates' age must not exceed 30 years (Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates applies).
Salary: Ranges from Rs. 56,100 to Rs. 1,77,500, in accordance with Pay Level-10 of the 7th CPC.
