Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), under the Ministry of Home Affairs, has released a notification for the recruitment of Group-‘C’ Non-Gazetted (Combatised) & Non-Ministerial Head Constable posts.

2. Head Constable (Communication): 197 posts
3. Head Constable (Electrician): 29 posts

Eligibility: Steward and Veterinary posts require a 12th-class pass with specific diplomas (Catering/Veterinary). Communication requires 12th with Science (PCM) or a relevant 3-year diploma. Electrician requires Matriculation plus two years of experience or a relevant ITI certificate.
Age Limit: 18 and 27 years (18 to 25 years for the Electrician post). Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates, and for Ex-servicemen.
Salary: Per month Rs.25,500 to Rs.81,100 (+ other allowances).
Selection Process: Based on Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), Written Examination, kill Test/Trade Test, Document Verification, and Medical Examination.
Mode of Application: Online.
Examination Fee: Rs.100 for General, EWS, and OBC candidates; No fee for SC/ST/Women/Ex-servicemen candidates.
