Coal India Limited (CIL) is inviting applications from young and dynamic individuals for the post of Management Trainee in E-1 Grade. This recruitment (Advt. No. 01/2026) is specifically for candidates who have qualified the GATE-2025 examination in the Mining discipline.

Management Trainee (Mining): Total 276 Posts
(UR - 114; OBC - 74; SC - 41; ST - 20; EWS - 27)
Eligibility: Candidates must possess a regular full-time Degree in Mining Engineering from a University or Institute recognized by the appropriate Indian statutory authority. A minimum of 60% marks is required for General (UR), OBC (NCL), and EWS categories, while a relaxed minimum of 55% marks is applicable for SC and ST candidates. Additionally, applicants must have qualified the GATE-2025 exam in the Mining (MN) paper.
Age Limit: 30 years for General (UR) and EWS candidates, relaxed by 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates General (UR) and EWS candidates.
Salary: Selected candidates will be placed in the E-1 Grade with a pay scale of Rs.60,000 - Rs.1,80,000. During the one-year training/probation period, the initial basic pay will be Rs.60,000 per month.
Selection Process: Candidates will be shortlisted based on their GATE-2025 scores. Final selection for the shortlisted candidates will be made following Document Verification (DV) and an Initial Medical Examination (IME).
Application Fee: Rs.1,180 for General/OBC/EWS categories; SC/ST/CIL Employees: Exempted from fee payment.
