Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port, Kolkata (SMPK) invites applications from eligible Indian citizens for the recruitment of Sportspersons on a contractual basis.

Sportsperson: 26
Sport-wise Vacancies:
Kolkata Dock System (For Men Only): Hockey (5), Football (5), Basketball (3), Volleyball (3), Cricket (5).
Haldia Dock Complex: Table Tennis (2), Badminton (3).
Eligibility: Must have passed the 10th Class (Standard X).
Must have represented a State or Union Territory at the National level in the relevant sport at least once during the period ending on 31.03.2026.
Age Limit: 18 to 26 years.
Salary: Rs. 50,000 per month.
Selection Process: After scrutinizing the applications, physical trials will be conducted for eligible candidates.
Application Procedure: Eligible candidates must submit their applications in hard copy form, accompanied by copies of certificates verifying their age, educational qualifications, and sports achievements.
