APPSC FBO, ABO Recruitment Notification 2025
The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC), Vijayawada has released Notification No. 06/2025 dated 14/07/2025 inviting online applications for 691 posts under direct recruitment to the posts of Forest Beat Officer (FBO) and Assistant Beat Officer (ABO) in the A.P. Forest Subordinate Service.

Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must have passed Intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent qualification. In addition, they should meet specified physical standards such as minimum height, chest measurements, and must also pass a walking test. Candidates must be Indian citizens, in good health, and of good character. Bonus marks will be awarded for NCC certificate holders (A/B/C grade).
Age Range: Minimum Age: 18 years, Maximum Age: 30 years (as on 01/07/2025).
Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST/BC/EWS; 10 years for SC/ST (CF vacancies only)
Salary: Forest Beat Officer Rs.25,220 Rs.80,910; Assistant Beat Officer Rs.23,120- Rs.74,770.
Selection Procedure: Screening Test (Offline- OMR Based, if applicants > 200 times vacancies), Main Examination (Offline - OMR Based), Physical Test (Walking Test & Medical Examination), Computer Proficiency Test (CPT).
