Dr.Y.S.R. Horticultural University (Dr.YSRHU) Venkataramannagudem, has invited applications for admission into B.Sc. (Hons.) Horticulture and B.Sc. (Hons.) Forestry courses for the 2026-27 academic year at government and affiliated horticulture colleges under its jurisdiction.

B.Sc. (Hons.) Horticulture: 360 + 13 (Payment seats) + 126 Category-A seats

B.Sc. (Hons.) Forestry: 60 seats

An additional 10% supernumerary seats will be allocated for the EWS category.

Eligibility:

Candidates must have passed the two-year Intermediate course (Bi.P.C./M.Bi.P.C.) conducted by the Andhra Pradesh Board of Intermediate Education or an equivalent recognized examination. Candidates must have studied Physics, Biology, and Natural Sciences. Admissions will be conducted based on the state-level rank secured in AP EAPCET-2026, merit, reservation policies, Presidential Order regulations, and other applicable norms.

40% of the seats are reserved under the farmer quota.

A 33.33% reservation is provided for female candidates in every category.

10% supernumerary seats are allocated for EWS candidates.

Original documents- such as the AP EAPCET-2026 hall ticket and rank card, Intermediate marks memo, SSC certificate, and community/EWS certificate must be submitted at the time of admission.

Age Limit (as of December 31): General category: 17-22 years; SC/ST category: 17-25 years; (General range: 17-27 years).
