Bachelor of Fisheries Science Admissions
The Fisheries University in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, has released a notification for admission into the four-year Bachelor of Fisheries Science (BFSc) program for the 2026-27 academic year. This course is available at APFU colleges located in Muthukur (SPSR Nellore) and Narsapuram (West Godavari).

Duration: 4 years
Courses: Aquaculture, Aquatic Animal Health Management, Fisheries Resource Management, Aquatic Environment Management, Fish Processing Technology, Fisheries Engineering, Fisheries Extension, Economics and Statistics.
Eligibility: Candidates must have passed Intermediate (Bi.P.C.), a Vocational Course in Fishery Science, or an equivalent qualification with Physical Sciences and Biology/Natural Sciences as subjects. An AP EAPCET 2026 rank is mandatory.
Age Limit: Candidates must be between 17 and 22 years of age as of 31.12.2026. The upper age limit is 25 years for SC/ST candidates and 27 years for differently-abled candidates.

Application Fee: Rs. 1,000 for General/BC candidates; Rs. 500 for SC/ST/differently-abled candidates.
