Trichologists are treated as professionals who specialize in this field and are trained to identify and address various issues such as hair loss, scalp infections, dandruff, alopecia (hair loss), and other hair and scalp disorders. Trichology combines aspects of dermatology (the study of skin) and cosmetology (the study of beauty treatments). It aims to understand the underlying causes of hair and scalp issues, including genetic factors, hormonal imbalances, nutritional deficiencies, stress, and environmental factors, among others. By addressing the root causes, Trichologists work to improve the overall health and appearance of the hair and scalp.
