State Bank of India (SBI) has released the recruitment notification for the post of Probationary Officer (PO).

Probationary Officer (PO):
Qualification: Candidates must have a Graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Final-year graduation students can also apply provisionally, subject to fulfilling the required conditions.
Salary: Starting basic pay: Rs. 48,480 + allowances.
Age Limit: As on 01-04-2026, candidates must be between 21 and 30 years of age. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules: 3 years for OBC, 5 years for SC/ST, and 10–15 years for differently-abled candidates.
Selection Procedure:
The selection process will be conducted in three phases:
Phase-1: Preliminary Examination: Conducted as an online objective test. It carries a total of 100 marks, English (40 marks), Quantitative Aptitude (30 marks), and Reasoning (30 marks). The exam duration is 60 minutes.
Phase-2: Main Examination
Objective Test - 200 marks; Descriptive Test - 30 marks.
The online objective Main exam consists of a total of 170 questions worth 200 marks; Reasoning & Computer Aptitude (40 questions, 60 marks), Data Analysis & Interpretation (30 questions, 60 marks), General Awareness/Economy/Banking Knowledge (60 questions, 60 marks), and English Language (40 questions, 20 marks).
Phase-3: Selection involves a Psychometric Test, Group Exercise, and an Interview.

Application Fee: Rs.750 for General/EWS/OBC candidates; no fee for SC/ST/PwD candidates.
