Qualifications: Educational qualifications vary widely by post. The Junior Scientific Assistant positions generally require a Master's degree in a relevant scientific discipline (such as Zoology, Botany, Physics, Chemistry, or Forensic Science) or an engineering degree ($B.E./B.Tech$) in specific fields like Biotechnology or Computer Science. 
Teaching positions (TGTs) require relevant Bachelor's degrees, specialized diplomas or a B.Ed., alongside mandatory qualifications like passing the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) and registration with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) where applicable. Technical and trade roles (like Fitter, Lift Operator, and Apprentice) require matriculation along with ITI or National Trade Certificates in respective trades. Candidates must possess all essential qualifications and experience on or before the cut-off date of July 15, 2026.

Upper Age Limit: 27 years for Junior Scientific Assistant & Technical/IT Assistant Grade-A posts; 30 years for Teaching posts; 32 years for Fitter, Apprentice, and Mechanic posts; and 37 years for the Lift Operator post.

Salary: Teaching Posts: Rs. 44,900 - Rs. 1,42,400; Technical Assistant, Archivist, Special Educators: Rs. 35,400 - Rs. 1,12,400; Junior Scientific Assistants, Electrical Overseer: Rs. 29,200 - Rs. 92,300; IT Assistant Grade-A: Rs. 25,500 - Rs. 81,100; Pre-revised Scale (Fitter, Lift Operator, Apprentice): Rs. 19,900 - Rs. 63,200.

Selection Process: Selection will be based on a Computer-Based Test.
