The AP Residential Educational Institutions Society is inviting online applications for filling up the remaining seats in AP Residential Schools for the academic year 2024-25 in classes 5, 6, 7 and 8 for the academic year 2024-25. APRS CAT-2024 notification has been released in this regard. There are special APRS for boys and girls in all districts across the state. Eligible students can apply online by March 31. The entrance test will be conducted on April 25 for the applicants.

* AP Residential Schools Common Entrance Test-2024 (APRS CAT - 2024)

Classes: 5, 6, 7, 8 Number of fifth class seats in AP Residential schools: 3,920.

Number of 6th, 7th, 8th Class Seats in AP Residential Schools: 575.

Eligibility: Must have passed 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th class depending on the class in the academic year 2023-2024. The annual income of the student's parents should not exceed Rs.1 Lakh.

Age: Should be born between 01.09.2013 to 31.08.2015 for Class V; 01.09.2012 to 31.08.2014 for Class VI; 01.09.2011 to 31.08.2013 for class VII; 01.09.2010 to 31.08.2012 for Class VIII.

Entrance Test: The question paper will consist of multiple choice questions of 100 marks, of two hours duration in OMR sheet format.

Application Procedure: Online.

Selection Process: Seats are allotted on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance test, reservation, special category, locality.

Application Fee: Rs.100.

Last Date for Online Application: 31.03.2024.

Hall Ticket Issue Date: 17.04.2024.

Entrance Test Date: 25.04.2024.

Declaration of Results, First Selection List Date: 14.05.2024.

Second Selection List Date: 21.05.2024.
