Government Medical College, Mahabubnagar has issued Notification No. 02/GMC-MBNR/2026 inviting eligible candidates for a walk-in interview. The positions including Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Tutor, and Junior Resident are on a purely temporary contract basis up to March 31, 2027, or until the regular need ceases.

Qualification: Candidates must hold an MBBS or equivalent degree, MD, MS, or DNB in the concerned subject depending on the post applied for, adhering to the NMC Teachers Eligibility Qualification Regulations 2025. Requisite teaching/research experience, Senior Residency, or clinical experience is mandatory for upper-tier faculty roles. Registration with the Telangana State Medical Council is required (outside candidates must register within one week of selection).
Age Limit: Professor, Associate Professor, & Assistant Professor: Below 69 years on the day of Notification. Tutors & Junior Residents (CAS): Below 45 years on the day of Notification.
Salary/Remuneration: Per month for Professor: Rs.1,90,000; Associate Professor: Rs.1,50,000; Assistant Professor: Rs.1,25,000; Tutor: Rs.55,000; Junior Resident: Rs.46,000.
Selection Process: Based on marks obtained in the PG (MD/MS/DNB) or MBBS degree, teaching experience. Local candidates will be given first preference.
