ONGC Scholarships for UG, PG Students
Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) provides scholarships every year to encourage talented poor students belonging to SC, ST, OBC and General categories towards higher education. Recently the advertisement has been released to apply for them.

ONGC offers a total of 2000 scholarships annually. Out of this, 1000 has been allotted to SC and ST, 500 to OBC and 500 to general candidates. 50 per cent of the scholarships in all disciplines go to women. Those studying UG and PG courses in respective departments are eligible. The selected candidates will get a scholarship of Rs.48,000 per annum at the rate of Rs.4000 per month. This financial incentive will continue till the completion of the course.
Eligibility: Should be studying full time course in regular mode in any educational institution. Only first year students admitted in the academic year 2024-25 in any course of Engineering (BE/ BTech) at Bachelor Degree level, MBBS or PG (Geology/ Geophysics) MBA should apply. It is mandatory for the students studying Engineering and MBBS courses to score at least 60 percent marks in Intermediate. Also, students studying M.Sc. (Geology/ Geophysics) or MBA courses should have 60 percent of the degree. Annual income of parents should not exceed Rs.2 lakh. In case of SC and ST, it can be up to Rs. 4.5 lakhs.
Age: Not exceeding 30 years as on 1st August 2024.
Selection: Based on intermediate marks for Engineering and MBBS courses; Scholarships are awarded for MBA, Geology and Geophysics courses with degree marks.
Duration of Scholarship: Four years for those enrolled in Engineering and MBBS courses; Those enrolled in MBA, Geology and Geophysics courses will be paid at the rate of Rs.4000 per month for two years.
