TG TET- JUNE 2026 Notification
The Department of School Education, Telangana, has released the notification for the Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test (TGTET)- JUNE 2026. This test is mandatory for candidates aspiring to become teachers for Classes I-VIII in government, local body, and recognized schools.

Paper-I: For Classes I- V Teachers
Paper-II: For Classes VI- VIII Teachers
Eligibility:
Paper-I (Classes I-V):
Intermediate / Senior Secondary with 50% marks
(SC/ST/BC/PH: 45%) AND 2-year D.El.Ed / 4-year B.El.Ed / 2-year D.Ed (Special Education)
Paper-II (Classes VI–VIII):
Graduation (BA/B.Sc/B.Com) with 50% marks
(SC/ST/BC/PH: 45%) AND B.Ed / B.Ed Special Education. OR 4-year BA.Ed / B.Sc.Ed
Language-related degrees for language teachers + Language Pandit Training
(Final-year students of D.El.Ed / B.Ed are allowed to appear but cannot apply for TRT until qualified.)
Selection Procedure: Computer Based Test (CBT)
150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), 150 Marks
No negative marking.
How to Apply: Through Online.
Exam Fee:
Only Paper-I or Only Paper-II: General & BC candidates Rs.750, For those Papers Rs.1000;
SC/ST/PwD Candidates the exam fee would be Rs.700/- for one paper and Rs.950/- for two papers.
Last Date Details:
Fee Payment & Online Application: 15.04.2026 to 30.04.2026.
Hall Tickets Download: From 09.06.2026 onwards.
Exam Dates: Between 15.06.2026 and 30.06.2026.
Result Declaration: Between 28.07.2026 and 31.07.2026.
