The South East Central Railway (SECR), Divisional Office, Personnel Department, Nagpur, has released an official notification for the engagement of Act Apprentices for the year 2026-27.

Act Apprentice: 1,079 Vacancies

1. Nagpur Division: 977 Vacancies

2. Motibagh Workshop: 102 Vacancies

Trades: Fitter, Carpenter, Welder, COPA/POPA, Electrician, Stenographer, Plumber, Painter, Wireman, Digital Photographer, Mechanic Machine Tool Maintenance, Cable Jointer, Health Sanitary Inspector, Dental Laboratory Technician, Electronics Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, Machinist, Turner, and others.

Eligibility: Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th class) or its equivalent examination from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. Additionally, applicants must possess a National Trade Certificate (ITI) in the notified trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) or a Provisional Certificate issued by NCVT/SCVT. Engineering graduates and diploma holders are not eligible to apply under this scheme.

Age Limit (as of 19.05.2026): Must be between 15 and 24 years of age. Age relaxation applies as follows: 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates, and 10 years for Persons with Disabilities & Ex-Servicemen.

Selection Process: Based on marks obtained in the Matriculation (10th Grade) and ITI examinations.
