National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) invites applications for the National Hospitality Teachers Eligibility Test (NHTET) December 2025. This test is meant to determine the eligibility of candidates for the posts of Assistant Lecturer and Teaching Associate in NCHMCT-affiliated Institutes of Hotel Management (IHMs).

Eligibility: Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Administration/Hotel Management/Culinary Art with 55% marks and 2 years of industry experience after graduation. OR Master’s Degree in the above disciplines with 55% marks. Candidates appearing in the final semester of Master’s Degree may also apply (if all previous exams are cleared).

Maximum age limit: 35 years for Assistant Lecturer; 30 years for Teaching Associate.

Selection Process: Qualify NHTET written exam, Practical Skill Test and Teaching Skill Test.

Exam Fee: Rs.1000 for General/OBC/EWS; Rs.500 for Women/SC/ST/PwBD/Transgender candidates.

Exam Centers: Noida, Chennai, Guwahati, Kolkata, Mumbai.

Application Procedure: Through Online.

Last Date for Fee Payment: 30.11.2025

Admit Card Download: 07.12.2025 to 14.12.2025

Exam Date: 14.12.2025 (Sunday)

Result Declaration: On or before 31.12.2025.
