Act Apprentice Posts in East Coast Railway
A notification has been released to fill Act Apprentice posts across various divisions and workshops of the East Coast Railway (ECoR) for the year 2026–27.

Trades/Categories: Fitter, Welder, Turner, Machinist, Electrician, Carpenter, Painter, Plumber, Blacksmith, Grinder, Wireman, Electronics Mechanic, Refrigeration & AC Mechanic, Computer Operator & Programming Assistant, Laboratory Technician (Pathology), etc.
Qualification: Must have passed 10th Class (Matriculation), Intermediate, or ITI from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks.
Age Limit: 15 to 24 years. Age will be calculated as of September 15, 2026. Age relaxation is provided: 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates, and 10 years for persons with disabilities (PwD). Selection
Process: Selection will be based on a merit list prepared using marks obtained in the matriculation examination.
