Indian Overseas Bank (Central Office, Chennai) invites online applications to fill apprentice posts across IOB branches nationwide.
Details:
Apprentice: 750 vacancies (UR-232, SC-176, ST-63, OBC-247, EWS-32)
15 vacancies in Andhra Pradesh; 06 vacancies in Telangana.
Qualifications: Must have passed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university/institution.
Age Limit: Between 20 and 28 years. Age relaxation is applicable: 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates, and 10 years for PwD (Persons with Disabilities) candidates.
Training Duration: One year.
Stipend: Rs. 15,500 per month for metro areas; Rs. 14,500 for urban areas; Rs. 14,000 for semi-urban/rural areas.
Selection Process: Based on an online test (objective type), local language test, medical examination, and certificate verification. Online Test (Objective Type) Subjects: General/Financial Awareness (25 questions - 25 marks), General English (25 questions - 25 marks), Quantitative and Reasoning Aptitude (25 questions - 25 marks), Computer/Subject Knowledge (25 questions - 25 marks).
Total duration of the exam: 90 minutes.
Application Fee: Rs.800 for General/OBC/EWS candidates; Rs.600 for SC/ST/Female candidates; Rs.200 for Persons with Disabilities (PwD).
