Master of Fine Arts Admissions 2026 JNAFAU MFA, Hyderabad
Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University (JNAFAU), Hyderabad, has released its admission notification for full-time self-finance Master of Fine Arts (MFA) programs for the year 2026.

Subject wise Seat details:
MFA (Applied Art & Visual Communication): 20 seats
MFA (Photography & Media Communication): 15 seats
MFA (Painting): 15 seats
MFA (Sculpture): 6 seats
Eligibility: Applicants must hold a 4-year B.F.A. degree in the relevant specialization (Applied Art, Photography, Painting, or Sculpture) or its equivalent. Candidates with a 3-year B.F.A. in Photography are also eligible provided they have 3 years of post-qualification practical experience. All admitted candidates must submit an undertaking certifying that they are not employed full-time.
Application Process:
Candidates must submit the filled-in physical application form along with photocopies of required educational certificates and the requisite Demand Draft for the application fee directly to the university office. Applicants for MFA Sculpture must additionally attach attested photographs (5"x7" size) of five of their works along with the application form.
Last date for application without late fee: 12-10-2026; With late fee (Rs. 2,000): 17-10-2026.
Examination Centre: The entrance examination will be conducted exclusively at the JNAFAU Campus, Mahaveer Marg, Masab Tank, Hyderabad.
