Specializations: Ph.D is available in Structural and Earthquake Engineering, Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering, Applied Geoinformatics, Pavement Geotechnics, Bituminous Pavements- Materials, Structural Design and Maintenance, Water Resource Engineering specializations.
Eligibility: First Class Master's Degree in Structural/Earthquake/Geotechnical/Transportation/Water Resources/Geoinformatics/Geospatial and Applied Research Areas/Environmental Engineering etc., First Class Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
Selection: Written test, personal interview. Those with GATE score will be exempted from the written test.
Fellowship Benefits: The duration of the program is two years. A fellowship of Rs. 36,000 per month will be provided for the first two years. Thereafter, a monthly stipend of Rs. 41,000 per month will be provided for the subsequent period. All students will get Professional Development Allowance (PDA) and tuition fee waiver.
