The 71st National Film Awards for the year 2023 were announced on 1 August 2025. The awards recognize outstanding achievements in categories ranging from acting and direction to music and production. Shah Rukh Khan won the Best Actor For Jawan and he shared this with Vikrant Massey for 12th Fail. Meanwhile, Rani Mukerji has won the Best Actress for Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway. Kathal has won the Best Film in Hindi.
