According to the report by UK-based NGO Christian Aid Heatwaves, wildfires, droughts, and storms cost the world more than USD 120 billion in 2025. The report noted that cost of climate inaction is equally clear, as communities continue to bear the brunt of a crisis that could have been averted with urgent action to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
India and the United Arab Emirates launched the second edition of their joint military exercise, Desert Cyclone II at Abu Dhabi on 18 December 2025. The exercise concludes on 30 December 2025. It focuses on enhancing joint operational capabilities in complex urban warfare environments.
