CSIR-Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology (CSIR-IHBT) has released a notification to fill posts for Project Associate, Senior Project Associate, and Project Assistant on a contractual basis.

1. Project Associate-I: 10

2. Project Associate-II: 1

3. Senior Project Associate: 1

4. Project Assistant-I: 2

Qualification: Depending on the post, candidates must have passed 10th Class + ITI, BE/B.Tech, M.Sc./M.Pharm/ME/M.Tech, or Ph.D., along with relevant experience.

Maximum Age Limit: 35 to 40 years, depending on the post. Age relaxation of 5 years applies to SC, ST, and female candidates, and 3 years for OBC candidates.

Salary: Rs. 18,000 per month for Project Assistant-I. Project Associate-I: ₹25,000 to ₹31,000.

Project Associate-II: ₹28,000 to ₹35,000.

Senior Project Associate: ₹42,000.

Selection Process: Selection will be based on a walk-in interview/objective test.

Interview Dates: August 10, 11, 12, 13, and 14, 2026.

Venue: CSIR-IHBT, Palampur, Kangra District, Himachal Pradesh.
