Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP), HR-L&D Department, invites applications from eligible candidates to fill 710 apprentice positions comprising Trade (ITI), Diploma, and Graduate categories across various departments for the year 2026-27.
Details:
1. Trade Apprentice (ITI) - Total: 516 vacancies
2. Diploma Apprentice - Total: 124 vacancies
3. Graduate Apprentice - Total: 70 vacancies
Trade/Discipline: Electrician, Fitter, Multimedia and animation special effects, Technician Mechatronics, Electronics Mechanic, Ceramic Technology, Chemical, Civil, Computer Science, EEE, Bachelor in Arts, Bachelor of Business Administration, Diploma in X-ray Technology, Diploma in Physiotherapy etc.,
Eligibility: Candidates must have passed ITI, Diploma, or Degree courses in the relevant trades/disciplines from a government-recognized institution or university. Only those who passed within the last five years (2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, 2026) are eligible. Candidates awaiting results, those who have already completed or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training, and those with one year of experience are ineligible to apply.
Age Limit: Must have completed 18 years of age by 31.10.2026.
Stipend: Per month Rs.9,600 for Trade Apprentices; Rs. 10,900 for Diploma Apprentices; Rs.12,300 for Graduate Apprentices.
Selection Process: Selection is based entirely on merit (30% weightage for 10th-grade marks and 70% weightage for ITI/Diploma/Degree marks).
