IREL (India) Limited (IREL), Chavara, Kerala, invites applications from eligible Indian citizens for the recruitment of Apprentice Posts in various departments for the year 2025-26.

Trade/Technician/Graduate Apprentice: 72
Educational Qualifications:
Trade Apprentice: ITI or M.Sc (Chemistry) in the relevant trade (Fitter, Electrician, Welder, Plumber etc.).
Graduate Apprentice: Must have passed B.Tech/BE in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Computer Science, Instrumentation or Mining.
Technician Apprentice: Must have passed Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Instrumentation or Mining.
General Stream (Executive): B.Com, BA, BBA, or B.Sc/ B.Sc Geology.
Note: Those who have qualified through distance learning or part-time are ineligible.
Age Limit (as on 28-03-2025):
Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years. Age relaxation is 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (NCL) candidates and 10 years for PWD.
Salary (Stipend):
Stipend will be paid as per the rates fixed by the Government from time to time as per the Apprenticeship Rules, 1992.
Selection Process: Merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the prescribed educational qualification.
Document verification & Medical Examination will be conducted for those who are in the merit list.
Preference will be given to landless people, native villages & candidates from Kollam District/Kerala State in the selection.

After applying on the portal, complete the prescribed form (Annexure A) given in the notification and send it by post along with the xerox copies of the necessary certificates.
