Telangana LPCET-2026 Notification Released
The State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET) has released the notification for 'LPCET-2026'an entrance examination conducted for direct admission (Lateral Entry) into second-year Diploma courses in Government and Private Polytechnic colleges across Telangana State for the academic year 2026-27.
Details:
Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have passed a two-year ITI course with a minimum of 60% marks. Additionally, they must have successfully completed the Bridge Course conducted by the Department of Employment and Training (DET).
Application Procedure: Candidates must download the detailed information brochure and the application form from the official
website: www.sbtet.telangana.gov.in. The application fee has been fixed at Rs.300 for SC/ST candidates and Rs.500 for candidates belonging to other categories.
Candidates are required to submit the filled-in application form, along with the online payment receipt, to the Principal of the Government Polytechnic College located at Masab Tank, Hyderabad, in order to obtain their Hall Ticket.
Important Dates:
Commencement of Applications: 16-03-2026.
Last Date for Fee Payment (without late fee): 20-04-2026 (up to 5:00 PM). Last date with a late fee of Rs. 100: 21-04-2026.
Final date for submission of applications: 22-04-2026.
Date of examination: 15-05-2026.
Release of results: Within 12 days of the examination. Seat allotment in Polytechnic colleges will be conducted based on merit marks and candidate preferences. The admissions schedule will be announced following the release of the results.
