National Testing Agency will be conducting the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE)-2024 for admission to Class VI and Class IX in 33 Sainik Schools across the country, for the academic year 2024-25. Sainik Schools are English medium residential schools affiliated to CBSE. They prepare cadets to join the National Defence Academy, Indian Naval Academy and other Training Academies, for Officers.

Details:

Eligibility for admission to Class VI: Candidate should be between 10 and 12 years as on 31.03.2024.

♦ Admission for Girls is open in Class VI only in all Sainik Schools.

Eligibility for admission to Class IX: Candidate should be between 13 and 15 years as on 31.03.2024 and should have passed Class VIII, from a recognised school, at the time of admission.

Mode of exam: Pen paper (OMR Sheets based).

Paper pattern: Multiple Choice questions.

Exam cities: 186 cities across India.

Exam cities in AP & TS States: Hyderabad, Karimnagar, Anantapur, Guntur, Kadapa, Kurnool, Nellore, Ongole, Rajamahendravaram, Srikakulam, Tirupathi, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram.

Exam fee: For General/ OBC(NCL)/ Wards of Defence personnel and Ex-servicemen- Rs.650, For SC/ ST- Rs 500.

Last date for submission of online application: 16.12.2023.

Last date for payment of fee online: 16.12.2023.

Correction of details filled in application Form: 18.12.2023 to 20.12.2023.
