Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a prestigious national-level exam that assesses candidates for comprehensive understanding in various undergraduate-level subjects in Engineering, Technology, Science, Architecture, and Humanities. GATE 2024 is being organised by Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru.

Details:

Eligibility: A candidate who is currently studying in 3 or higher years of any undergraduate degree program or has already completed any governmentapproved degree program in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Science/ Humanities, is eligible to take this examination.

Exam Paper: GATE 2024 will be conducted for 30 papers. A candidate is allowed to appear either in ONE or UP TO TWO papers of the GATE 2024examination. For candidates interested in appearing for two papers, please see the page Two Paper Combination for more details.

Applications Fees: Rs.900 (for Female/ SC/ ST/ PwD), Rs.1800(Other candidates).

Opening date for online registration: 24-08-2023.

Closing date for online registration: 29-09-2023.

Closing date for extended Online Registration (with late fees): 13-10-2023.

Exam dates: 03-02-2024, 04-02-2024, 10-02-2024, 11-02-2024.

Announcement of Results: 16-03-2024.
