Hemant Soren

♦ Jharkhand Mukti Morcha leader Hemant Soren has taken oath as the CM of Jharkhand for the fourth time on 28 November 2024.

♦ Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar administered the oath of office and secrecy to Soren at the Morabadi Ground, Ranchi. He became the Chief Minister of the state for the first time in the year 2013.

♦ In the recent elections, the JMM-led alliance won victory in the Jharkhand polls by securing 56 of the 81 seats in the state Assembly, while the BJP-led NDA bagged 24 seats.
